Booking Deposit $50.00 - $100.00 per boat or $100.00 - $300.00 per Pontoon Boat .
For boat rentals we required a Security Deposit in Cash or Preauthorisation from your Credit Card.
The Security Deposit will be returned at the end of the rental when the boat is returned clean and with no damage.
$ 500.00 Security Deposit is required to rent a boat & motor!
$1000.00 Security Deposit is required to rent the Pontoon!
Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) are required for motorized recreational equipment rental, check information below.
Release of liability and lease agreement must be signed.
Boat Operator must be 18 or more years old.
Note: All boats and canoes will be provided with one life preserver per person.
We also provide our rental boats with anchors, paddles, and a safety equipment kit.

Currently, a Pleasure Craft Operator Card is required if you fall into one of two categories:
#1 You operate a pleasure craft fitted with a motor AND are born after April 1, 1983; or,
#2 You operate a pleasure craft, fitted with a motor, that is under 4m (13 feet) in length (regardless of age).
If you were born before April 1, 1983 and operate a pleasure craft, fitted with a motor,
that is 4 m and over in length, you will require proof of operator competency by September 15, 2009.

You will find a variety of pages which offer online tests. They will send you the PCOC within 3 - 6 weeks and offer
a printout of a temporary card when you pass.
What is acceptable proof of competency for non-residents?
For non-residents, proof of competency can take one of three forms:
#1 A Pleasure Craft Operator Card;
#2 A completed boat rental safety checklist (for power-driven rental boats); or,
#3 An operator card or equivalent issued by their state or country*.
*NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) issued cards are recognized for citizens of the United States.
"(A person who is not a resident of Canada is competent to operate a pleasure craft if the person
(a) has proof of competency as set out in subsection (1);
or (b) has been issued a certificate or other similar document by the person’s
state or country of residence attesting that the person has acquired
the boating safety knowledge required by the state or country." end Quote.
