Plus they got some bonus Pikes and a nice Muskie, Ron still claims that Leo stole the Muskie of him .......    Lets watch the show see who is telling

another fishing tale. Nick the camera man told me he has proof....

Watch out ...... HE is coming and enters the boat.

Don't let the key in the ignition, you never know who is coming around.

Aghhhhh......to late he started the motor.....and gone.

A nice Muskie landed near the 5 Finger Rapids on the French River.

Chalas with the most discussed Muskie of the year.

We still debating the length of that fish. It is a big one for sure. Next time he has a measurement tape in the tackle box and he knows were to go.

But one is for sure he used the lightest equipment as he was aiming for

Minnows as live bait at the 5 Finger Rapids. He got the biggest Minnow

we have ever seen.

Tom got a good size 39 inch French River Muskie on the "Training Day".

Every Year we we have 2 teams with 4 Americans and 4 Canadians

fighting for their CAN/AM Trophy. In 2008 the Americans only had a 2 guys team with Tom and Jim.

All the training on the French River pays of. Tom got a healthy looking 51 inch Muskie.

Tom did really well with a 39 inch Muskie on the pre tournament day.

And then this 51 inch beauty on the 1st day, that got the 4 Canadians working hard for the next days.

The candian team worked hard every day on the French River. They got a # of Muskies like Rommel with a nice fat 47 incher.

Stan landed this young 37 inch Muskie on a nice October day.

Stan with a 37 inch Muskie, good to see there healthy generation of  midsize French River Muskies waiting to take the lead in 4 - 7 years.

The Canadian Team showed a great spirit and caught a total of 5 or 6 Muskies but Tom's had the longest and so the CANAM Trophy goes south into the US after been in Canada for 2 Years.

And in 2009 its getting even tougher when the US Boyes

are back with the full team.

we are working more pictures, please be patient...

During the late Fall we lost some good friends on the river side

to a hard working neighbour..
