Mike caught another nice Pike, but he got in competition with a big Muskie who t-boned the Pike. The real looser was the Pike. Another exciting experience on the French River. |

Chalas with the most discussed Muskie of the year. We still debating the length of that fish. It is a big one for sure. Next time he has a measurement tape in the tackle box and he knows were to go. But one is for sure he used the lightest equipment as he was aiming for Minnows as live bait at the 5 Finger Rapids. He got the biggest Minnow we have ever seen.

Fall 2008

Captain Jeff got the biggest on of the week a nice 48'' French River Muskie again in Restoulle Bay, released to get hooked again next fall.

Thanks to Ed and his friends for these great pictures. We looking forward to see you back next time. P.S. don't come without your Special T-Shirts! |
![]() Every Year we we have 2 teams with 4 Americans and 4 Canadians fighting for their CAN/AM Trophy. In 2008 the Americans only had a 2 guys team with Tom and Jim. |
![]() Tom did really well with a 39 inch Muskie on the pre tournament day. And then this 51 inch beauty on the 1st day, that got the 4 Canadians working hard for the next days. |
Rommel got a nice fat 47 inch Muskie
Aldo with a good looking 43 incher. |
Stan with a 37 inch Muskie, good to see there healthy generation of midsize French River Muskies waiting to take the lead in 4 - 7 years.
The Canadian Team showed a great spirit and caught a total of 5 or 6 Muskies but Tom's had the longest and so the CANAM Trophy goes south into the US after been in Canada for 2 Years. And in 2009 its getting even tougher when the US Boyes are back with the full team. |
we are working more pictures, please be patient...
During the late Fall we lost some good friends on the river side to a hard working neighbour..
